Recruitment and Retention - (1998 - 2000) Jane Loeb, Chair Charged with assessing the overall improvement in the
status of women on campus, this committee examines,
identifies and reports patterns pertaining to recruitment,
retention and advancement of women in colleges, programs and
offices on campus.
The primary goal of this committee is to ensure that
all women on campus become aware of existing information and
data as well as practices/policies pertaining to
recruitment, retention and advancement of
women. During
1998 this committee began a study to compare retention and
promotion of women and men through the faculty
ranks.
Currently, the committee is in the process of
collecting and analyzing the data from this
survey. A
